Raska-Prizren Eparchy Bishop Teodosije sent a letter to TV Most in which a misunderstanding that occurred on Sunday at Saint Demetrious Church in Mitrovca North was clarified, TV Most reports.
In a letter the Bishop Teodosije noted there is a rule applicable in all Serbian Orthodox Church eparchies and it says that all media activities have to be announced in advance and a blessing for the recording inside of the Church premises should be timely requested.
Given that TV Most did not announce its visit to the Saint Demetrious Church in Mitrovica North to the Eparchy, it was prevented to enter the Church on Sunday.
Bishop Teodosije expressed a hope that in the future, the TV Most would respect established church order and rules, thus timely request permission for eventual recordings at Eparchy’s churches and monasteries.
TV Most on its side thanked Bishop Teodosije for providing an explanation.
