No evidence that organ trafficking took place during Kosovo conflict (Klan Kosova)
All claims in the report by Swiss Senator Dick Marty about organ trafficking have been rejected, and such a thing never happened. This is according to Klan Kosova, which learned that this will be the conclusion of the lead prosecutor for the European Union Special Investigative Task Force (SITF), Clint Williamson. His report was expected to be published in June, but it was postponed for two more months, and will now appear in August.
After publishing his findings, Williamson, who served earlier as the head of UNMIK’s justice pillar, will leave his current position, as the report will have been finalized and his task completed.
International sources told Klan Kosova that he will be replaced by another American prosecutor.
The new prosecutor will investigate 12 war crimes cases, for which the SITF found evidence. All of those cases involve individuals as opposed to organizations. The indictments for these 12 cases will be raised at the end of this year.
