Mustafa: Ruling-coalition is stable (KlanKosova)
Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, during a press conference today mentioned the achievements of the government this year and said 2015 was a year of big challenges. "The ruling-coalition has been stable and managed to overcome all situations and decisions that were not easy but beneficial to Kosovo's prospects for the future,” Mustafa said. According to him, opposition parties must renounce violence and should accept the government’s invitation to discuss the recent agreements with Serbia and Montenegro. “The solution is in the Assembly where the political debates take place.”
He also spoke about international agreements and Kosovo's path towards the EU. “We were careful to continue with the European agenda in order to meet the criteria for the SAA and visa liberalization. Kosovo has strengthened its international role,” he said.
Mustafa also mentioned that Kosovo has reached agreement with the Netherlands on the establishment of the special court and its functioning in the Netherlands. "The agreement was reached ten days ago between a working group that we have established as a Government and a delegation of the Netherlands and the EU, and now there are only some procedures and the special court becomes operational," said Mustafa.
In regards to economic reforms, Mustafa said the government has fulfilled an important part of economic reforms. “I am proud we didn’t have any corruption affairs and we will try to minimize any possibility of corruption and we will support the pillar of justice,” he said.
