Drecun: Self-determination demonstrates extremism (RTK2)
President of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun, says that statement of Vice President of Self-Determination movement, Visar Imeri, that Serbia needs to change approach towards Kosovo, is demonstrating policy of extremism. “They are actually the ones who do not contribute to the process of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, and not Serbian officials,” said Drecun.
"The positions and rhetoric of Visar Imeri are anachronistic and extremely detrimental. In spite of everything, I do not expect that politics of extremism represented by the Self-Determination will prevail, because it would undoubtedly be counterproductive for everyone. I expect that Albanian politicians in Pristina demonstrate the rationality so that the process of normalization of relations would be resumed," says Drecun.
Imeri, in an interview for Danas, said that Serbia needs to change approach towards Kosovo, and that the negotiation process in Brussels should not be closed diplomatic dialogue.
