Djuric: We expect the renewal of the investigation of all crimes against Serbs (TV Most)
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the attack on the bus "Nis Express" near Podujevo, in which were killed 12 and wounded 43 Serbs, Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric said that the fact that this crime doesn’t have a court epilogue is unacceptable.
"Even after fifteen years the perpetrators of this serious crime were not found. Also it is not known who killed Serbian children in Gorazdevac, 14 reapers in Staro Gracko, Stolić family in Obilic, who destroys and burns Serbian houses on a daily basis and desecrates churches and monasteries in Kosovo ... it is a devastating fact that this case is closed, while the only suspect Florim Ejupi, who was in the first instance sentenced to 40 years in prison, was acquitted by the Supreme court in 2009, due to lack of evidence," noted Djurić.
"We expect and request from the international community and the competent authorities in the province to as soon as possible renew the investigation in this and all other cases of attacks on Serbs, so that all the unsolved crimes could be solved and the perpetrators justly punished," said Djuric.
