The Director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija said the decision was made after a series of attacks that shook the city today, claiming the lives of nearly 30 people.

"We are here in Brussels with the people, we are sharing these difficult moments. Extremism knows no borders and Europe must be united in the fight against evil," he said.

Djuric added that the Serbian delegation "wished to go to EU HQ and show solidarity with colleagues" but that it was "not physically possible to reach the location."
