Seven months since murder of Oliver Ivanovic, no progress in investigation (Radio kontakt plus, Vecernje Novosti)

Leader of Civic Initiative, Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic was murdered seven months ago, and there is yet no progress in his murder investigation, Serbian media reported.

Wife of late Oliver, Milena Ivanovic said she received no official information related to the investigation. “I am aware that certain information cannot be public while the investigation is ongoing, but plenty of time has passed and I do not wish to think the aim of prolonging the case is to forget about this heinous crime or to use it for everyday political arguing,” Milena told Vecernje Novosti daily.

She added she doubts surveillance cameras at SDP premises did not work at the time of the murder and said there are recordings of other surveillance cameras that were carefully reviewed, expressing hope it would help in resolving Oliver’s murder.

Milena Ivanovic said she has received many information through unofficial contacts and talks with different people. She also added she runs her own investigation and maybe it would be more successful than official one, Serbian media reported.
