Jahjaga: More women in decision-making positions (Koha)

During the opening ceremony of "Women in Kosovo’s Security Institutions" project, Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga expressed her support for all women and girls in uniform, who are part of judicial and security institutions in Kosovo. Jahjaga stated that the role and contribution of women is undeniable in building institutions and strengthening the rule of law.

On the occasion of the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November), United Nations Development Coordinator in Kosovo, Andrew Russell, officially opened the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, which is marked annually worldwide with the aim of raising awareness and promoting actions to prevent violence against women.
