In an interview for local media, Ivanovic did not give a precise date of the meeting, but explained that they discussed healthcare. “We were together with representatives of UNMIK for a visit at the Mitrovica Hospital Centre in the north of Mitrovica. We discussed the health issues. They (UNMIK representatives) insisted on bringing Albanian health care employees at the hospital in the north. We insisted on symmetry and reciprocity, for the Serb health care employees to be returned at 20 hospitals. The discussions took place in presence of the UNMIK representative, while Thaçi and Rexhepi came without being invited. Under those circumstances, and in the presence of Thaçi’s armed bodyguards, who later after our insistence left, we did not shake hands, and there was no introduction,” said Ivanovic, who is also a doctor at theHospitalCenterin northern Mitrovica.
