NISMA supports the law on KSF (Lajmi)
After the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Initiative for Kosovo, (NISMA) also confirmed that they would vote the law for the change of the mandate and increase of competencies of the Kosovo Security Force.
Kosovo Assembly MP from NISMA, Zafir Berisha, said that the draft law submitted to the Assembly by the President of Kosovo has been ready for quite some time now. “We have insisted during the debate held three weeks ago at the Assembly to go with the B version, supported also by Hashim Thaci now, being that Vucic does not allow the Serbian List to vote the constitutional changes,” Berisha said.
“We as a political force are interested to make a step forward and this step is a bit delayed, but as the saying goes: better late than never. We will give our contribution to endorse the law though an accelerated procedure, which changes the mission of the KSF. We cannot change its name being that the Serbian List would not vote constitutional changes,” Berisha said.
