Killer of Kosovo Serb municipal assemblyman still at large (Tanug)
Dimitrije Janicijevic, 35, a member of the North Mitrovica municipal assembly, was murdered a year ago to this day, but his killer is still at large.
Janicijevic was killed by gunshots outside his family home in Kosovska Mitrovica.
The Kosovo police deputy regional director Besim Hoti told Tanjug that the investigation of the case is being conducted by Eulex, while the Kosovo police are merely cooperating with the mission and the prosecution office.
Eulex declined to comment on details of the investigation that is underway.
The slain Janicijevic, a representative of the Independent Liberal Party, was running for mayor of North Mitrovica.
