Pajtić: Serbs must stay in Kosovo (Vecernje Novosti)

We wish to support our people in Kosovo to stay and live here, and offer support to those who are ready to stay and preserve themselves. We should overcome daily political clashes, stated the leader of the Democratic Party Bojan Pajtić during his two-day visit to Kosovo.

No matter on political differences, and whether it is about authorities or opposition, we all stand behind our people in Kosovo and Metohija, was Pajtić’s message.

He visited Goraždevac/Gorazhdec, Gračanica/Graçanicë and Decani Monastery where he talked with citizens and delivered humanitarian aid in behalf of Vojvodina government.

Pajtić stressed the importance of presence of Serbs in provisional bodies in municipalities. He also warned that problems faced by Serbs, like the one with the vehicle insurance, which  provides that Serbs with KS number plates have to pay EUR 100 to enter Serbia, has to be settled.

“That is unacceptable, and one of the biggest problems deriving from the Brussels Agreement, and it should be settled through refunding or in another way,” said Pajtić.
