It was announced at at a meeting held in Pristina that the working group on finding durable solutions for return will try to find a way to facilitate financial or bureaucratic problems that displaced persons face in exercising their right to identity documents.

The second day of the conference was attended by representatives of the Government of Serbia. Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Dusan Kozarev reminded that “displaced persons are often faced with various administrative complications while applying for personal documents. Therefore, the Working Group will try to simplify this procedure,” he said. Minister for Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic explained that the recommendations suggested during the meeting will be later adopted at the Regional Conference, which will be held at a high political level.
