Protection of returnees in Kosovo is necessary (TV Most)
The protection of returnees is a challenge for the Serbian representatives in the Kosovo government, who formed the inter-ministerial working group that should take care about the returnees. The favorable political climate is necessary for the safety of returnees, was indicated in the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
"Bomb thrown on the returnee's house in Kovrage village is just a picture of the general climate in which Pristina did nothing for 16 years in order to create the conditions for the return. A direct consequence of this is that today, when it comes to Serbs, the return to Kosovo and Metohija is smaller than return to Rwanda, place of the worst genocide in the 20th century," says Marko Ɖurić, director of the Office for KiM.
Returnees should be offered employment, access to health facilities and schools, said Ɖurić, reminding that soon will start construction of the returnees’ settlement "Sunny Valley".
