Jevtic: The situation in Kosovo remains uncertain (TV Pink, Politika, Tanjug)
Vice President of the Serbian List Dalibor Jevtic told TV Pink that the situation in Kosovo is still uncertain, and that Pristina does nothing to calm the tensions and continue the dialogue
Jevtic says Pristina, by adopting the platform on dialogue, further complicated the whole situation, and that uncertainty is deepened south and north of the Ibar, Tanjug reports.
"All of us who live in KiM closely follow every spoken word of President Aleksandar Vucic and it is of utmost importance that he said that he would not allow any new pogrom of Serbs in Kosovo. It is a message which gives us hope and faith, that we will come out of the difficult situation in a peaceful and positive way," said Jevtic.
"All the demands that come from the representatives of the international community did not bear fruit because Pristina does not want to continue the dialogue. Obviously, it wants all the pressure to be transferred to Belgrade, which does all to continue the dialogue, but not under the conditions that are now being imposed," he said.
The platform, which was adopted in Pristina, Jevtic said it was a big blow not only to the dialogue, but also to the relations between the Serbs and Albanians in the territory of Kosovo.
