Serbian Government members react to Pristina’s entry ban (RTS, Tanjug)
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin and European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic said Pristina’s decision to ban entry in Kosovo to all Serbian officials represents anti-European stance and shows unreadiness of Pristina for the dialogue, RTS reports.
Zorana Mihajlovic said the ban indicates a complete lack of readiness on the side of Pristina to resolve the problems between Serbs and Albanians through the dialogue and contribute to greater stability in the region. She also noted it is absurd that Pristina on one side raises barriers in the region and on the other tours European capitals asking for the visa liberalization.
Aleksandar Vulin said the entry ban represents yet another evidence that Pristina leadership avoids the dialogue at any cost. He also noted the decision represents an act of retaliation and an attempt to cease any links between the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and the Serbian Government.
Jadranka Joksimovic said the latest Pristina’s decision represents an anti-European act. She noted by such decision Pristina “intentionally, systematically and purposely violates all fundamental European values and additionally degrades the possibility to continue the dialogue.” She added that now “the EU and its member states have an opportunity to see the real nature and aims of Pristina.”
