Coalition Freedom begun its campaign in Prizren (KIM radio)
Coalition Freedom on Sunday begun its campaign in Prizren under the slogan ''We remain here''.
''We wanted to show that politics is a two-way street between citizens and government,'' the coalition said.
Coalition Freedom stated that good citizen service requires fair holding of elections, representation and participation in order to provide real opportunities for all citizens to express their stances related to public affairs, KIM radio reported.
Coalition emphasized that efficiency and effectiveness are necessary to ensure that the goals are achieved with the best use of resources, and that ''openness and transparency are needed to provide the public with access to information and to facilitate an understanding of the manner in which public affairs are conducted''.
''Ethical conduct ensures that the public interest is above the private because without that, even expertise and ability are a negligible concept. By talking to citizens and by adopting suggestions and proposals, we’re proving our openness, which is a condition of innovation for providing new solutions that will beneficial for the whole society. Only in this way will we be able to ensure a long-term orientation to care for the future generations,'' the statement reads, adding that ''cultural diversity and social cohesion of Prizren are a great starting point for guaranteeing that all citizens are protected and respected and that no one is discriminated against or excluded''.
''By starting our campaign in Prizren, we officially took responsibility for our actions,'' Freedom concluded.
