RTV Dukagjini reported quoting what it said were reliable sources that Kosovo’s acting Minister of Justice, Abelard Tahiri, has been called by the Specialist Chambers and is expected to travel to The Hague by the end of the month.
Several media outlets, including Klan Kosova, Gazeta Express and Lajmi are meanwhile reporting that Tahiri neither confirmed nor denied the invitation. “I cannot comment on it at this time,” Tahiri said.
Gazeta Express recalls that an official from the Ministry of Justice working in the office for defence of possible indictees by the Specialist Chambers was previously called by the prosecutors on suspicion of leaking sensitive information.
