“Infrastructure, resolving the issues of regional water supply system and landfill, arrangement of the neighbourhood and the Monastery of Banjska, as well as employment opportunities for young population are some of our priorities, stated Dragisa Milovic, candidate for a mayor in Zvecan municipality, KIM Radio reported.

Milovic, who is the leader of a Civic Initiative For Our Zvecan, was two-time president of this municipality.

“Our priorities are well known. It is not about party’s interests, but about citizens’ interest, we wish to take care of as a municipality,” Milovic said.

He listed lack of employment opportunities for the young people in the north of Kosovo as one of the burning issues.

Milovic said if he wins the mandate, only capable and skilful people would get the job. Milovic also promised they would work in a way where everybody can openly express his/her opinion without pressure, without losing job or without someone burning a car or throwing a bomb, KIM Radio reported.

Dragisa Milovic also said the campaign for elections scheduled to take place on 22 October will not be fair and that candidates on his list are under everyday pressure.
