The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), assessed the platform for dialogue with Serbia, presented on Thursday by the government as poor and as a document which does not define issues to be discussed, principal or deadlines.

LDK caucus, Avdullah Hoti, expressed dissatisfaction with regards to the leading role that this platform gives to the President of Kosovo in the dialogue process, stressing that this role is attributed to him due to the lack of power of the governing coalition to lead major processes of Kosovo. “LDK will be analyzing this platform during the following days and make its decision in consultation with its structures and the parliamentary group,” Hoti said.

This political party also informed that a roundtable of the political parties to discuss the situation created in Kosovo after the government lost majority at the Assembly, will take place on Wednesday.

“There will be discussions on institutional and political crisis that our country is going through, los of parliamentarian majority, lack of normal functioning of the Assembly as well as failing on legal and constitutional functioning of the institutions, as it was the case of expelling six Turkish nationals,” Hoti said.
