Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalyia Apostolova, said Kosovo is a country of equal level with the other partners, and that Kosovo should consider very carefully how to benefit and convince the other countries to reconsider their position about Kosovo in the near future.
During the “The new decade for Kosovo: advancing reforms making, regional cooperation and European integration” conference, organized by the Balkan Policy Research Group, Apostolova added that as far as enlargement policy is concerned, there will be no mitigations or shortcuts.
“Kosovo has made progress on issues such as demarcation, and this is a major success, being that it was an open issue for a long time.
The Report on Kosovo also stresses many open issues, such as the field of the rule of law, and we want to see major progress also in combating crime and corruption,” Apostolova said.
