President of Constitutional Court, Enver Hasani, commented on reports that Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alliance for Future of Kosovo (AAK), Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) and Vetevendosje will ask the Constitutional Court to interpret article 127 of its recent ruling saying that if such a request is made, the court will assess it against its merit. In a statement to RTV 21, Hasani said that he would not make any further comments as this is still a hypothetical situation. “But we will act on standard basis”, he stressed.

Hasani also addressed allegations that Constitutional Court is politically influenced saying that this may be a perception of a part of political spectrum. “Constitutional Court has no consideration on political repercussions of its decisions”, he said.
