Minister Tahiri had argued that the issue of certificates of ADR should be solved urgently because free trade agreement is being violated.
Minister Tahiri also reacted to EU for provocative campaign of officials of Serbia during their stay in Kosovo, demanding from the EU to take action in accordance with the agreement on normalization of relations. “Continuation of statements by officials of Serbia has pushed the Kosovo Government / MFA not to give permission to Serb official Marko Djurić to visit Kosovo. Meanwhile, last Friday took place next provocation when Serbian official Djuriç entered Kosovo illegally violating the Brussels agreement. Minister for Dialogue Edita Tahiri reacted in the EU for the next violation by Serbia and their officer and has decided that since April 18 to prohibit illegal entry of persons with illegal IDs issued by parallel structures and informed Brussels than any other illegal entry of different individuals in Kosovo will be facing the force of law of the Republic of Kosovo. As a result of the tense situation, the European Union has called an urgent meeting tomorrow in Brussels,” says a press release issued by the government of Kosovo.
As for certificates of ADR, the position of the Government remains the same reaffirmed by Minister Tahiri during a meeting in Vienna on 4 April 2016 that without mutual recognition of these certificates of ADR there will be no change in the measure of reciprocity decided by Kosovo government.
“Regarding the prohibition of entry and exit in Kosovo with illegal IDs, Government of Kosovo at the request of the US Embassy and the EU, has decided to postpone implementation of the decision until holding the meeting today in Brussels,” notes the press release.
