Kosovo’s Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Valdet Hoxha, met a group of experts from the UN headquarters in New York and discussed the developments in the field of rule of law, the security sector and the inclusion of women in the security mechanisms in Kosovo. In the meeting, which also involved representatives from EULEX, UNDP and UN Women, Hoxha spoke of the progress Kosovo has made in the security and rule of law areas and highlighted the importance of Kosovo membership in Interpol in the context of successful implementation of national strategies to combat organised crime and terrorism.
