Pal Lekaj, head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) parliamentary group, suggested that Kosovo authorities should invite the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to conduct investigations into Vetevendosje activist Astrit Dehari’s death. Lekaj recalled that the FBI had already provided such an expertise in the case of Dino Hasanaj, former head of the Privatisation Agency of Kosovo. “The AAK never tried to benefit from anyone’s tragedy. We refuse to take part in any debate on the matter, because the way this session is organised it does not contribute to the resolution of the case,” Lekaj added.
