Chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, met today with representatives of the parliamentarian group of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).

Apostolova said that she was interested to know what is the position of LDK as opposition party at the Assembly, on treating significant issues for fulfillment of visa liberalization criteria.

Apostolova stressed she never said that criteria of fighting corruption is fulfilled but that good work has been done. She added that EU expects for judicial processes on corruption to conclude with indictments. “No one said that this criterion has been fulfilled. We will present work that you will be doing on fulfilling these criteria. This process has to be fulfilled and we do not want to blame anyone. We want to see processes pursued until conclusion, we want to see individuals who end up in jail because of corruption,” Apostolova said.
