Dardan Sejdiu resigns leading Vetevendosje posts (media)
Vetevendosje deputy leader, Dardan Sejdiu, has resigned all leading posts in the party as a sign of protest towards recent developments. In a letter, Sejdiu said his resignation follows a period of problems within Vetevendosje and notes that he has not seen readiness on the part of the leadership to resolve these issues and move forward. He said the final straw was the decision to call a meeting of the presidency today without informing him as the acting party leader following the recent resignation of Visar Ymeri. “I will continue my political activity as an MP and member of Vetevendosje in accordance to my beliefs,” Sejdiu said.
