"No new letter by Albanians from south of Serbia, it's old news" (Tanjug, B92)
Belgrade based news agency Tanjug reports that Ragmi Mustafa confirmed that Bujanovac mayor Shaip Kamberi, member of the Serbian National Assembly Fatmir Hasani and he did not send a new letter, with an initiative to join the finale of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, to Federica Mogherini and Hashim Thaci.
"There has been no new letter with the request of Albanian parties from the south of Serbia to participate in the conclusion of the Brussels dialogue." Ragmi Mustafa, president of the National Council of Albanians (NSA) said this on Thursday.
Mustafa said that Belgrade media yesterday instead repeated the news from four months ago.
According to him, this was done to "deliberately raise tensions at a critical time before the making of important decisions."
According to Tanjug, Pristina "annexing" the so-called Presevo valley - an area in the southern part of central Serbia with an ethnic Albanian population - is not merely "old news" - it is also an almost constant topic among Pristina politicians.
Tanjug reminds that yesterday, Hashim Thaci repeated in an interview for Radio Free Europe that he asked for the three municipalities - Bujanovac, Presevo, and Medvedja - to join Kosovo during a recent meeting in Berlin.
