Djuric: Belgrade fulfilled all obligations, Pristina did not (Tanjug)
Director of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric said in Mitrovica on Thursday that Belgrade had implemented all points, from the 7th to the 15th, of the Brussels agreement on the normalization of relations with Pristina.
It now rests with Pristina to implement the first six points of this agreement, Djuric said at a meeting with representatives of local governments in northern Kosovo.
He stressed that Belgrade would not give up on the implementation of the part of the agreement which envisages the creation of the community of Serb municipalities (ZSO).
Djuric said that there could not be full normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina without creation of ZSO, as its creation sets up the road to the permanent normalization of relations between Serbs and Albanians.
Pointing out that there were still issues concerning full implementation of the agreement on police and judiciary integration, Djuric said that Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic would meet with representatives of Kosovo Serbs again very soon to discuss those problems with them.
