Vucic and Mustafa to reach agreement on area code and "Peace Park"? (Politika)

At least on two agenda items, out of the four planned for today’s talks in Brussels between negotiations teams of Belgrade and Pristina, will be reached a "final agreement", Politika learn. "Most probably they will close issues on telecommunication and the bridge over the Ibar river, that connects the North and South part of Mitrovica" in the cabinet of EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini between Belgrade team, headed by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Pristina team with Isa Mustafa, the Prime Minster of the Kosovo government.

In addition to telecommunication there will be talks and about sustainable solution for “Peace Park”.

"Significant improvements are expected and on other two agenda items. In addition, it is very likely that it will be resolved the issue of vehicle insurance, that is, we'll find a way that there are no additional charges on the Integrated Border crossings in future," says the source of Politika. The interviewee was unable, however, to provide details about what will contain a final agreement on the points which final closing is expected today.

In yesterday’s edition of newspapers Danas, was written that EU will seek from Vucic and Mustafa to sign the concrete agreements, but such information was not confirmed for Politika. Instead, recalls that nothing has been signed until now and that various agreements from Brussels were initialled only.

Diplomatic sources in Brussels told Tanjug that Federica Mogherini was aware that it was unrealistic to expect difficult issues such as Community of Serbian municipalities, telecommunications, energy i.e. Gazivode and Valac substation, including "Peace Park" to be solved on today’s meeting, but that she will insist on solution for at least two issues, and that on the other issues there was some progress, at least.
