More Brussels talks, less Serbs in Kosovo (Vesti online)
Serbs are not surprised by the fact that after Pristina’s insistence the issue of the "Peace Park", which is located between the northern (Serbian) and southern (Albanian) Mitrovica, was discussed in the Brussels, although it was not part of the Brussels Agreement.
The aim of the Albanians is to put aside establishment of the Community / Association of Serbian Municipalities, and it's already known that its jurisdiction will be according to the Ahtisaari plan – which is symbolic.
"Peace Park" serves to turn attention from other key issues such as property of the enterprises, telecommunications and vehicle registration plates. However, according to the Pristina-based sources, the official Berlin has supported the efforts of the Albanians that this park is removed, so the issue became the precondition for further negotiations.
Serbs in northern Kosovo also do not understand why the issue of Gazivode is, at all, when it is unconstitutional and directly contrary to the Constitution of Serbia.
Serbian politicians from Kosovo who do not belong to the Serbian List believe that the Brussels talks, mediated by Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, are focused, in fact, to merely putting a signature on documents that are already prepared.
The first negotiations in Brussels that led to handing over jurisdiction of the Serbian municipalities in the north to the Kosovo institutions divided Kosovo Serbs into those who believe in the policy of Belgrade and those who do not accept the Brussels signatures.
When it comes to the continuation of these negotiations – there is no doubt. Both groups realize that the Serbian state and the Serbian autonomy disappeared from northern Kosovo, as the “Peace Park” will disappear.
