Bishop Teodosije will meet today with PM Vucic (Kossev)
Bishop of Raska and Prizren Teodosije will meet today in Belgrade with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, was said from the Serbian government’s office for media. The meeting starts at 15 a.m. at the Serbian government building but for now there are no details on the topics of the meeting.
The meeting was organized right before the resumption of talks between the Prime Ministers of Serbia and Kosovo, in Brussels, which should be held during the last week of January. Director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, announced earlier that one of the topics will be protection of Serbian cultural heritage, property and the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church. During the talks on the admission of Kosovo to UNESCO, the abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery, Sava Janjic, in video-appeal to the international public said that the issue of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) in Kosovo, the vulnerability of religious objects and assets of the SPC should be solved within the Brussels-based dialogue.
