The Appellate Court in Pristina still did not respond to the appeal of lawyers, submitted on the first instance verdict, and according to which Oliver Ivanović, leader of the Civic Initiative Sloboda Demokratija Pravda (CI SDP), was sentenced to nine years in prison. As stated by Ivanović’s sister Nataša Ilić, an answer can be expected at the earliest in autumn, adding that everybody expects acquittal. She added that the legal team from Mitrovica which is representing Ivanović has the legal help of recognized lawyers from Belgrade and abroad.
