Joksimović: Brussels eyes on the Balkans (RTS, TV Most)
There is a clear awareness that Serbia is crucial for the progress of the entire region, says Director of the Center for Foreign Policy Aleksandra Joksimović, pointing out that Aleksandar Vučić at a good moment has asked Federica Mogherini to speed up the country's Eurointegration, reported Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).
Joksimović believes that the absence of a European perspective in the Western Balkans can cause crises.
Joksimović said that the continuation of Pristina-based dialogue at the presidential level could yield the best results, because both presidents initialled the Brussels Agreement and are its guarantors.
"It is good that there is no dilemma that everything has to be implemented. It was not publicly spoken, but I believe that yesterday's topic of discussion was and the participation of the Serbian List in the executive power. From it will depend and the resolution of some other crises. I believe that they will wait to constitute executive power," Joksimovic told RTS.
She points out that in the pre-election campaign in Kosovo, it was suggested that the dialogue with Belgrade to go backwards, but that, whoever in power, will be faced with the strong pressure of the international community to continue talks in the format set.
Joksimović notes that Belgrade is ready to continue dialogue at any point and that the fastest normalization of relations is in the best interest of all.
