House in Odanovce village, Kamenica municipality stoned (KIM Radio)
House of Dejan Dimitrijevic, in the village of Odanovce, Kamenica municipality was stoned on Sunday evening around 21.30 hrs KIM Radio reports today. No injuries reported, however material damages are caused.
Dejan Dimitrijevic told RTV KIM that apart from his family, his sister and her family as well as friends with three children were in the house at the moment of attack.
“There were 9 children in the living room, at the moment of attack. We were sitting and then heard a breaking sound. When we got out we saw a window was broken. There was no one outside, obviously attackers escaped. Then we called police,” Dmitrijevic said.
Kosovo police conducted investigation, KIM Radio further reported.
Dimitrijevic reminded this is not the only attack that took place in the village. Serb community representative in Odanovce village, Dragan Stojkovic told KIM Radio a house of his brother was stoned last year.
“What is particularly concerning, is a fact that these attacks happen on the March pogrom anniversary,” Stojkovic said.
Odanovce village is multi-ethnic village with more than 800 houses. Majority of population are Albanians. In part of the village called Krsljanci, where stoning took place live Serbs in 15 houses, KIM Radio reported.
