32 citizens injured during Djuric’s arrest (Serbian media)
32 citizens present in and outside of “Mitrovica Dvor” building at the moment of arrest of Marko Djuric were injured, Mitrovica Hospital Centre Director, Milan Ivanovic told Serbian media.
“13 citizens were admitted and examined at surgery ward, 17 at ophthalmological ward and 2 at orthopaedic ward,” Ivanovic said, adding that injured persons were released for home treatment as per their decisions.
According to Ivanovic, “five people sustained heavy injuries, including Minister of Agriculture, Nenad Rikalo who sustained abdomen injures, Zeljko Jovic who sustained a contusion of hand finger and lower extremities, however he rejected hospitalization and proposal to remain in the hospital. Ivan Milojevic suffered a head contusion and an eye injury, while director of the Higher Business School Nebojsa Milanovic and Vladan Radenkovic suffered head contusions.”
According to B92, Nenad Rikalo is in intensive care unit.
Milan Ivanovic was also present when ROSU members stormed the premise where the meeting was held, assessing it was “unprovoked, brutal action of Albanian police members, ready even to kill, with bullets in their rifles (…),” Serbian media reported.
