Jevtic: ZSO would be established, Srpska ready for elections (KIM Radio)
The Association of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) will be established, outgoing Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic said, adding Srpska Lista is ready for new parliamentary elections, KIM Radio reports today.
Jevtic made these remarks at a gathering organized in the House of Culture in Klokot municipality, following the meeting with Klokot mayor Bozidar Dejanovic. Jevtic said that the Association of Serb Municipalities is not political, but a life issue. “The time has come. We have been waiting too long for what belong to us, was our aim and is not directed against anyone,” Jevtic said. He called upon Pristina and Brussels to establish the ZSO in line with what has been signed in Brussels. “We are ready to contribute in a positive manner,” he added, refuting claims that independent establishment of the ZSO is against the law. “We have a legal ground for ZSO establishment. We won’t do anything contrary to the law. We consider that what we are doing is in line with the law (…),” Jevtic added. Responding to journalists’ questions on possibility of extraordinary parliamentary elections and today’s statement of Ramush Haradinaj that he supports elections, Jevtic said Srpska Lista is ready for elections, adding that “Srpska Lista would have much better results in the next elections.”
