Management Team met with health institutions’ directors, discussed healthcare improvements (Radio Kosovska Mitrovica)
Management Team for the establishment of Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities met today with directors of the largest healthcare institutions active in Serb-majority municipalities, who provided a number of useful suggestions regarding the future situation and health needs of communities, Radio Kosovska Mitrovica reported.
During the meeting it was noted that a quality health care system is one of the main pillars of the survival of Serbian people and its inalienable right, as confirmed by Brussels agreements defining the future competencies of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities.
The directors of health institutions agreed health care in Serbian municipalities is organically linked to the health care system in central Serbia, and any attempt to remedy such a state of affairs would have as a consequence collapse of an entire system.
They also noted the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities must guarantee preservation and improvement of the achieved quality of primary and secondary health care, but also to preserve the personnel base on which it rests today.
Directors of the Health Centre in Mitrovica North, health houses/centres of Strpce, Gracanica, Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok attended the meeting, Radio Kosovska Mitrovica reported.
