Serbian List: What does the statement of the EU chief in Kosovo means that attacks on Serbs 'start to look like tit for tat' (NMagazin)
The Serbian List called on EU officials yesterday to publicly explain the statement made by EU Head of the Kosovo Office Nataliya Apostolova that ethnic-motivated attacks on the Serbs in Kosovo are starting to look as 'tit-for- tat', report Serbian media.
Stating that since May 1 more than 20 attacks on Serbs and their property have been recorded in Kosovo, and the last attack on the school in Suvi Dol near Lipjan as the third in which direct victims were children of Serb ethnicity, the Serbian list expresses disquiet on the occasion of the statement made by the EU representative and assessed that “the relativization of crimes is the best way of repeating it".
The Serbian List adds that MPs of the Serbian List yesterday tried to meet with Quint ambassadors in Pristina to demand a resolute reaction to the latest attacks on Serbs, but that the ambassadors did not appear, report Serbian media.
Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, told the Brussels-based Euractiv portal that ethnic incidents in the area have been "troubling" in recent months and that they seem to be 'as tit-for-tat', Serbian media recalls.
