Haradinaj-led government to be voted today (dailies)
Media outlets confirm that the new government of Kosovo will be voted today at the Assembly session scheduled to begin at 16.00hrs. However, RTK and Koha report that the session is likely to be postponed by a few hours as the head of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, said he is meeting officials of the Serbian List at 13.00hrs.
PDK to present nominations for ministers today (Kosovapress)
The leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will meet today to agree on the nominations for the ministers in the government set to be voted later in the day. According to sources inside the party, Enver Hoxhaj will be proposed to take the post of deputy prime minister, Agron Mustafa Minister of Finance, Besim Beqaj Minister of Health, Uran Ismajli Minister of Innovation, Abelard Tahiri Minister of Integration and Diaspora, Dhurata Hoxha Minister of Justice, and Rexhep Hoti Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Haradinaj vows to “correct” borderline with Montenegro (Koha)
PAN’s candidate for prime minister and leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, vowed to “correct” the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro once elected prime minister. He said the agreement contains mistakes and he will make sure they are corrected. “We will give this issue a fair epilogue and I believe in a quick timeframe,” Haradinaj said.
Police arrest four for arranging people’s illegal crossing into EU (RTK)
Kosovo Police has arrested four persons for fixing prices for illegal transport of people from Kosovo to EU member states, Hungary and Germany. Indeksonline reported that at least one of the persons arrested is of Serb ethnicity.
