Government of Kosovo strongly supports the operation undertaken, at the national level, by the Kosovo Police in coordination with the State Prosecution to arrest extremist elements who by their actions have threatened Kosovo’s national security and constitutional order.

Government of Kosovo reiterated that Kosovo authorities will firmly defend Euro-Atlantic civilization values, individual freedom, secularism, constitutional and legal rights of all communities living in Kosovo. It appealed to citizens to vigorously oppose any form of expression of extremism. “Inter-religious and inter-ethnic tolerance, cooperation and mutual communication have always been and will remain unaffected values of our society. Any threat to these fundamental values of the state and our society will be punished relentlessly”, a statement issued by the Government of Kosovo said.
