Vetevendosje explains why they refused to join coalition block on the request for 127 (koha online)

Vetevendosje Movement considers that the decision of the Constitutional Court was political and biased.

Vetevendosje stresses in a press release that the ruling of the Constitutional Court has not brought any constitutional solution, but it only crystalized political dictate which starts from the Office of the outgoing Prime Minister to the courtroom, where justice should be shared.

“Furthermore, we believe that this Ruling has seriously violated the essence of democracy expressed in the activity of the Assembly, as the most senior law making institution and deputies as the political representative body,” is stressed in the press release.

Therefore, considering that the ruling was political, Vetevendosje considers that it cannot request a clarification neither from the President and even less from the Constitutional Court, which according to them, is a caught up institution, therefore we did not join today’s initiative.
