Serb Association of municipalities, Serbia’s connection and link in Kosovo (kohanet)
Aleksandar Jablanovic, leader of the Serbian List, stated that Serb Association of Municipalities (ASK) will be established immediately after the creation of the new Government of Kosovo and added that the association will have serious competencies.
Jablanovic said for the Serbian agency Tanjug that he has guarantees of three political centers, Belgrade, Brussels and Pristina for the establishment of the Association. This means that the Association will not be unimportant and at the level of non-governmental organizations as some speculate, he said.
“Association will have clear competencies and it will be one of the connections and links of the population which lives here with the institutions of the Republic of Serbia. It will have competencies on education, healthcare, social welfare and it will also deal with many other significant issues for the Serb community in Kosovo, first of all with economic development and education of the young Serb population in Kosovo,” he said.
