KDI requests return of the Serbian List at the Assembly (Telegrafi)
Representatives of the civil society have requested from the Assembly of Kosovo to discuss with the Serbian List their return to the Assembly, as soon as possible. They assessed Assembly’s start of the new season as very weak.
Jetmir Bakia, from the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) said that they have warned the Assembly on its weak performance during the first three months and that there is a lot of work to be done, since not a single law was preceded. “We appeal to them for a more pro-active approach,” he said adding that they also appeal to the Assembly to request from the Government to present its governing programme to the deputies.
Driton Selmanaj from KDI said that he has requested from the coalition partners to discuss with the Serbian Lists, in order for them to return to the Assembly, and avoid becoming an obstacle for the endorsement of some important laws.
