Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli today met with the United States Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie and the EU Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar. During the meeting it was discussed about the recent developments in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the work of the Assembly. Delawie and Zbogar expressed their support for the continuation of the work of the Assembly, in order to avoid creating delays in the promulgation of laws relevant to the processes through which Kosovo is going. In this regard, Delawie conveyed the messages of the US State Secretary John Kerry that the Assembly is a place for democratic debate and decision-making, and certainly not for violent acts.  Veseli stressed that there is no other way to overcome the current situation, but through open dialogue between all stakeholders of the political and institutional life in Kosovo. "Any idea or initiative that helps in this direction is welcome and will have my full support," Veseli said.
