Kosovo Assembly approved a resolution condemning the recent decision by a Serbian court sentencing, in absentia, eight former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) members to sixteen years for an attack on Yugoslav Army troops in 1998. Two of the convicted persons, Anton Cuni and Rrustem Berisha, are Kosovo MPs. The voting took place under a cloud of tear gas released by the opposition MPs as the Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli began to read the resolution text.
