The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi, met on Sunday during the ceremony of Mother Teresa’s being declared a saint, Pope Francis.

“I had yesterday a private audience with Pope Francis, and we reflected once again on the role of Kosovo on the peace in Balkans and the role of Saint Teresa to the peace in the world. The Holly Father informed me about his plans to visit Kosovo and about recognition of the reality in Balkans. As President of the country and Saint Teresa’s population, I felt immensely proud,” wrote Thaçi on his Facebook page.
