Works without permission at Orthodox Church continue, Police and KFOR observe (Koha)
Works at the Serb Orthodox Church at University Campus, called by Serbs “functionalization of the Church,” continued today. These works, led by volunteering priests of Pristina’s neighboring municipality, Gracanica, are commenced without the respective permission from the institutions of the capital. Sources of Koha.net learned that members of Pristina building inspection visited the site. Members of Kosovo Police are also present there, and no incident happened so far. Members of KFOR are also observing the situation from a distance under shadow.
The Church at University Campus was built at the time of Slobodan Milosevic’s regime and to Albanians it represents a period of oppression by Belgrade’s regime.
