Former Kosovo PM Bajram Rexhepi dies (media)

Most of the media reported today that Bajram Rexhepi, the first elected Prime Minister of Kosovo, has died at the age of 63 in a hospital in Turkey, after suffering a stroke earlier this year.

Kosovo's President Hashim Thaci, Acting Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, many political and institutional leaders, the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delawie and the U.K. Ambassador Ruairi O'Connell, expressed condolences to Rexhepi's family.

After the news of Rexhepi's death, the government of Kosovo held an urgent meeting. Media learned that Rexhepi will be buried tomorrow with state ceremony at cemetery in Shipol village (Mitrovica Municipality).
