New phase of the program for returns and reintegration in Kosovo has started. This program is a joint initiative financed from European Union and Ministry for Returns and Communities that supports creation of a sustainable, tolerant and multiethnic environment in Kosovo, which ensures fundamental human and minority rights. According to a press release from the Office of European Union, it says that despite this, this project has for the aim to support sustainable returns of displaced persons through involvement of government and non-government actors, in the central level, and also in the municipal level. “The program of returns and reintegration is among one of most important projects of the ministry in cooperation with EU,” said Dalibor Jevtic, minister for Return and Communities. This project will be implemented in seven municipalities during a 30 months period.
